Ola Ormson was from Drarvik in Sand.[1] He was born about 1615, and was the son of Orm Drarvik; his mother is uncertain.[2]
He sued Ola Ormson from Molla in Sauda for the rights to Åserød, and won; Ola Ormson Molla had rights through marrying the widow of Ivar Knutson, who had acquired the rights to Åserød by marrying the widow of Gunnar Åserød, who had married the daughter of Knut Åserød who had first cleared the farm, while Ola Ormson Nådland's rights came from being married to Berit Gunnarsdotter, daughter of Gunnar Åserød and granddaughter of Knut Åserød.[1]
Berit Gunnarsdotter and Ola Ormson Drarvik settled at Åserød in 1658. He bought the deed for Åserød from Utstein kloster in 1670.[1]
He was frequently used as a lagrettemann in skipreidetinget and fjerdingstinget.[1]
He was assaulted and almost killed by Bjørn Marvik near Jelsa church in 1670.[1]

Ola was widowed about 1661.[1]
He later married a widow from Høgsfjord who was the daughter of Signy Rossavik. They had no recorded children.[1]
Orm died about 1680. His sons each inherited 1 pund smør of Åserød, while his daughters each inherited 3 marks.[1]
