- Note: Florence Matilda Osborne, born in 1875, was married four times. The first time, according to records on the FamilySearch Ancestral File (AFN: 36FC-ZC) was to a Tom Stanley. I am not for sure if they were married in England or Utah. She had one child with him that is deceased and she is widowed by 1900 according to the 1900 census in Mill Creek, Sat Lake County, Utah. Florence is living with her younger sister, Alice and her husband, William Caldwell and children, Olive L. and Robert L.
- Florence's second marriage is to William E. Glass on September 6, 1901 in Salt Lake and the Certificate number is 010737.
- Florence's third marriage is to Pearl's father, John Christian Nelson, on November 26, 1906. (See copy of certificate attached).
- Florence's fourth marriage is to Mr. Glass again about 1914 and they have a son named William H. Glass born August 24, 1915. Her daughter, Pearl, takes the surname of Glass instead of Nelson.
- Florence's immigration to America is uncertain. In the 1910 census Florence states that she arrived in 1890 and is naturalized. That would make her fifteen when she arrived, however, in the 1930 census she said she arrived in 1893 making her 18 when she arrived. I have not been able to find her immigration papers as yet.
