Biography
Arthur Ford "Art" Oscar was born in Summerdale, Baldwin, Alabama on 7 May 1915 to parents William and Hilda Oscar. He had four siblings: Herman Wilfred Oscar (1898–1989), Carroll Windom Oscar (1899–1984), Winifred Louisa Oscar (later Hubbard) (1906–2002) and Lloyd Winfield Oscar (1913–1994). The family relocated to Brooklyn, Wisconsin. Arthur married Patricia Warnecke (b. 1925) of Madison, Wisconsin on 5 Jan 1942 and they had two sons, Peter and Thomas, and one daughter Patricia. Later, Arthur moved to Fitchburg, Wisconsin. He passed away at the Middleton Village Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Middleton, Wisconsin on 9 Aug 1997 at age 82. He was buried in Mount Hope Cemetery in Brooklyn, Dane, Wisconsin.[1]
