He married Hannah Ensign June 16, 1685 in Scituate.[1]
He died August 26, 1733 in Scituate. [1] He is buried in Men of Kent Cemetery in Scituate.[3]
His will is dated 16 May 1729 and proved on He mentions his children, Ensign Otis, Hannah Richmond, Thankful Otis, John Otis, Israel Otis, Stephen Otis, Isaac Otis, Joseph Otis, and Joshua Otis.[4]
His inventory was taken on 9 October 1733 in Scituate.[5]
