Biography

Abraham was born in 1816. Abraham Ott was married to Sarah Morgan, who had immigrated from England, on either the 27th or 30th of Nov., 1838, in Ohio. There are two entries for the marriage, and they are both signed by Benjamin Marsh, Justice of the Peace.

They moved to Noble, Indiana before 1841. He was a farmer. The 1870 census gives the value of his farm at $10,000. His family was next door to that of David Winebrenner. His daughter Julia married Winebrenner's son. He passed away in 1896.
