Biography

Elizabeth Owen, daughter of Robert & Rebeccca Owen, was born in Merionethshire Wales. She emigrated to Pennsylvania where she married (as his second wife) David Evans, a "gentleman" of Philadelphia who was also the deputy sheriff of Philadelphia 1714-1721.^[1]

Note: Some of these children may have been by David's first wife (name unknown)

• Sidney Evans; married Joseph Howell of Chester, PA 4 mo 26th 1759
• Sarah, died unmarried; will dated 14 July 1762 and proven 21 December
• David Evans; died 11 mo 18th (January 18), 1725
• Margaret Evans; died unmarried 4 month 12th (June 12), 1734
