....and the said John Greider and Margaret his wife in and by their certain instrument in writing issued poll on the last recited indenture . ....bearing date the fourth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy (recorded at Lancaster in said Book R, page 498) for the consideration therein mentioned granted and confirmed the same lot or piece of ground with the appurtenances unto CONRAD OXER and to his heirs and assigns forever. And the said CONRAD OXER being so seised in fee of and in the said lot or piece of ground died intestate unmarried and without issue, whereby the same lot or piece of ground descended to and became vested in GEORGE OXER, eldest brother and heir at law of the said CONRAD OXER, deceased agreeable to the laws of the said state of Pennsylvania in such cases made and provided and whereas the said GEORGE AXER in and by his certain instrument in writing dated the twenty fifth day of May anno domini one thousand seven hundred and eighty (recorded at Lancaster in Book U page 500c) for the consideration therein mentioned granted and sold the said lot or piece of ground with appurtenances unto the said CHRISTOPHER AXER in his lifetime (the the name CHRISTOPHER OXER) and to his heirs and assigns forever. And the said CHRISTOPHER AXER being so seised in his ............

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS
That I, Maria Barbara Auxer, of the Borough of Lancaster in the County of Lancaster and State of Pennsylvania, Spinster, for and in consideration of the good services and attendance done to me in my lifetime, by my son, Christopher Auxer, of the Borough of Lancaster in the County and State aforesaid, do by these presents give over and bequeath unto him, my said son, Christopher Auxer, all my personal estate, monies, bonds, goods, clothes and bedding whasoever to him, his heirs and assigns forever. He, the said Christopher Auxer, shall pay all my just debts out of the same and maintain me during my lifetime and in case that I should die should pay my funeral charges out of the same, and I do hereby by these presents disinherit my other children, Anna Maria, and Elizabeth and Michael Auxer, from all and singular all rights and herediments to my estate herein forever and my said son, Christopher Auxer, shall receive all monies, bonds, clothes and bedding after my decease, and no sooner, to his own purposes, use and behoof.
In witness whereof I, the said Maria Barbara Auxer, have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this 21st day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty-seven.
