Biography

John Oxley was baptised on August 4th 1771 in Whickham, Durham, England. His parents were George Oxley and Mary Bowden.[1]

John Oxley married Ann Baker on September 18th 1798 in River Philip, Nova Scotia. [2]

Their children were named: Charles, Charlotte, Stephen, George, Benjamin, Mary, Edward, William John, and Joseph. [3]

John died and was buried in 1842.[4]
