Obituary

Adolph Jacob Pacher was born in Millheim to parents George and Augusta Schubert Pacher. He was raised in Millheim and attended Millheim Public School. On Nov. 11, 1934, he married the former Miss Emma Marie Mueller in Millheim and was a carpenter building homes in the area. He also was a farmer and rancher, member of the Austin County Farm Bureau, the Austin County Livestock Association, the Millheim Harmonie Hall Association and the Sons of Hermann Lodge #299 of Millheim.
Adolph Pacher died Friday, Jan. 2 at the age of 93 in Bellville; his funeral was officiated by Rev. Milroy Gregor.
Survivors include his children and their spouses, Grace Fick and husband Leroy of Bleiblerville, Merle Conger and Harry of New Braunfels, Kathryn Raley and Gene Sledge of Victoria, and A.C. Pacher and Betty of Bellville; sister, Frances Goebel of Bellville; grandchildren, Craig Fick, Pam Pacher Ondruch, Lori Fick O'Connor, Sandra Pacher Froebel, Linda Pacher Wheeler, Greg Deutrich, and Misty Raley St. Denis; great-grandchildren, Lane, Logan and Landon O'Connor, Karlee and Ty St. Denis, Alyssa and Kayla Froebel, and Ashton Deutrich.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife as well as his sister, Anna Victoria Pacher; a twin brother; brothers, Karl, George, Herman and Gus Pacher; and great-granddaughter, Emily O'Connor.
Interment was in Millheim Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service were Michael Ondruch, Bryce Froebel, Michael Wheeler, Rolland St. Denis, Bob O'Connor, and George Lee Pacher with honorary pallbearers, Greg Deutrich and Craig Fick.
