Thomas was the son of Thomas Packe, merchant, of Ballynakill, Queen's Co.
He was educated by Mr Matthew Towers and entered Trinity College Dublin on 22 June 1736, aged around16. B.A. 1740, M.A. 1743. [1]
He was collated Precentor of Leighlin on 16 January 1749/50; installed January 27th. [D.Reg.] Collated Treasurer of Leighlin on 16 February 1741. (FF.)
Presented on 11 October 1784 as Dean of Kilkenny (Ossory), and instituted on 24th November. (FF.)
He died on 26 May 1795, and was buried in the Cathedral.
