William Palmer was born in 1843.[1] His parents were Charles Palmer and Mary Thompson. He was baptised on 15 Jun 1843 at East Keal Church, Lincolnshire. [2]
In 1851 he was living with his parents and brother Charles Palmer at East Keal, Lincolnshire. [3]
In 1861 he was working for Thomas Plant and living at Willoughby Hill, Boston, Lincolnshire.[4]
William marred Eliza Rylatt in 1865 at Spilsby, Lincolnshire. [5] They had nine children.
In 1871 they lived at Midville, Lincolnshire with their three eldest children, Harriet, Chales, Mary and Jane.[6]
In 1881 they still lived at Midville, Lincolnshire and now have seven children.[7]
In 1891 William and Eliza were living at Black Drove, Stickney, Lincolnshire. Only one of their children, Alice, was at home on census night. They had a boarder and two visitors with them when the census was taken. [8]
In 1901, Alice was still the only child still at home with William and Eliza. They lived at Lade Bank, Wrangle, Lincolnshire [9]
Eliza passed away some time between 1901 and 1908.
William married Mary Rowson on 17 July 1908 at Wrangle, Lincolnshire. [10]
In 1911 William and Mary lived at Wrangle, Boston, Lincolnshire[11]
