Shubael Palmer, born 4 Jan 1720/21 in Windham, Connecticut, was the third child of Gershom Palmer and Hannah Spencer.

He married 20 Aug 1752 Sibyl Bingham [b. Windham, Connecticut, daughter of Abel & Abigail (Moulton) Bingham; d. 2 May 1771]; they had at least 9 children:
