Biography

Emily was born in 1888. She is the daughter of Richard Paltridge and Harriet Stubbs.

Emily married around 1903 and had three daughters to her military husband. She was widowed in 1914.^[1]

She remarried in 1919^[2]

She died in 1965.^[3]

Research Notes

She married Adolphus W Parkinson^[4] in 1911 according to marriage reg but states 8 years on 1911 census and has a seven yr old born in Hampshire with her. Given that she is in military barracks, I assume they could have married overseas...? She also has Winifred. 4, born Sth Africa and Freda, 2, born Dublin.
