Biography

Arthur PARKER was born on 24 June 1882 ^[1] in Glanford Brigg, Lincolnshire, England to William PARKER and Rebecca BORDER.

On the 1891 Census ^[2], Arthur is living with his parents. On the 1901 Census ^[3], Arthur is living in Thornton Curtis, Lincolnshire, England as a servant and his occupation was Waggoner on a farm.

Arthur Parker married Catherine Fanny MELLOWS on 24 Nov 1909 in Patrington, Yorkshire, England ^[4], they had three children, Mary Ann Parker^[5] , Thomas Arthur Parker ^[6] and Louisa Rebecca Parker ^[7] .

On the 1911 Census ^[8] Arthur is living in Thornton Curtis, Lincolnshire, England and his occupation is Waggoner on a farm.

In 1917 Catherine Fanny Mellows left Arthur Parker with his three children and on the 1939 Census he is living with his father in law James Mellows at Dumpling Cottages, Holderness, Yorkshire, England, his occupation is pig farmer. Later when his youngest daughter Louisa Rebecca Parker moved to Bedfordshire, England, Arthur moved in with her and her husband Stanley Allanson.
