William Parkerson was born on June 20, 1834 to Burrell Parkerson and Emma (Mount) Parkerson.[1] He was baptized on July 21, 1834 at East Dereham, Norfolk, England.
In 1851, his older brothers Burrell and Richard immigrated to New Zealand aboard the ISABELLA HERCUS.[2] William and the rest of the family followed, arriving on Oct. 18, 1853 aboard the JOHN TAYLOR.[3]
He married Emma Maria Mount Newman in 1877 in New Zealand.[4]
William died on Dec. 31, 1912 at Woodville, New Zealand and was buried at Terrace End Cemetery in Palmerston North, Palmerston North City, Manawatu-Wanganui, New Zealand on Jan. 3, 1913.[5]
