Biography

Almira Parks was the daughter of Peyton Parks (1774-1882) and mother Rebecca Katherine Yantis (1790- ). Almira Parks married Peyton Parks in 1825 in Lincoln County, Kentucky. She was 24 years old. They had 8 children and moved to Tebo, Missouri, USA where they lived until her death in 1846 at the age of 35. Almira died about 2 weeks after the birth of her last son Peyton Manford from complications of birth. Peyton's death was on 15 Nov 1880 at the age of 80 in Calhoun, Henry County, Missouri.
