Biography
Joshua was born in Guilford, Conn in 1661-1664 (although one researcher gives 1663), the son of John and his third wife Hannah.
His first marriage was in 1690 to Alice, the daughter of Thomas Edwards of Long Island. Joshua and Alice had eight children together before Alice died in 1714.
In 1716 he married Hannah Dewolfe, the widow of Benjamin Stone, and they had five children together.
John died at Guilford in 1729.
