Biography
John Shaver, a son of Paul and Catharine Shaver, was born in Bourbon County KY in 1797. He married Mary parsons in Harrison County Va (WV) February 28, 1817. The family moved to present day Roane County WV by 1820 and Mary died there August 9, 1835.
