Biography

Azubah Partridge was born in 1742 in Massachusetts. She was christened on 18 October 1752^[1]. Her parents were Preserved Partridge and Catherine (Armstrong) Partridge.

She married Joseph Quinby, but the date of their marriage is uncertain. They had eight children^[2]:

1. Archelaus, born 28 Mar 1776;

2. Anne, born 10 Feb 1778; married Samuel Rolfe Jr.

3. Eunice, born 11 Dec 1780; married Robert Houston

4. John, born 2 Feb 1782

5. Rebecca, born 1 Sep 1785; married John Scammon Jr.

6. Martha, born 1 Sep 1787; married Isaac Cox

7. Joseph, born 12 Mar 1791

8. Mary, born 1 Feb 1794; married Levi Towle

Azubah passed away in 1829 in Westbrook, Maine, and is buried in Saccarappa Cemetery^[3].
