James Patton was born on January 11, 1801 in Kentucky, United States, son of John Henry Patton (~1774–~1855).
James (27) married Polly Leak (25) (born about 1802 in Kentucky) on June 9, 1828 in Floyd, Kentucky.[1] Their son was Henry Patton (~1829–~1890).
James died on December 18, 1891 in Floyd County, Kentucky, aged 90.
