Walter Jerry Payton was an American professional football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL) for 13 seasons with the Chicago Bears.
Walter Payton was born in 1953. He was the son of Edward and Alyne "Patsy" Payton of Columbia, Mississippi.
He died in 1999.[1][2] His remains were cremated and buried with his mother at Rest Haven in Columbia, Mississippi.[3]
