Biography
Jane (Peacock) Caldwell was born in Scotland.
Jane was born about 1820 and died in 1876.
Her death certificate shows her body was found in the canal at Cardonald.
Cause of death....Drowning,
No details of parents shown on death certificate or marriage register.
She is believed to have been born at Abbey, Lanarkshire but parents details not yet established as two Jane Peacocks (perhaps cousins?) were born in the same area just months apart. The two options are shown below....
