William Newton Peacock was born on April 7, 1907, in Platter, Bryan, Oklahoma Territory. His parents were Pete Peacock and Lena Leota Haynes (1877–1945). ^{[1] [2]}

William married Erih Ester Pollard (born on February 28, 1909, in Avery, Red River, Texas; daughter of Andrew Jackson Pollard and Sarah Ellen (Hogland) Pollard). ^{[3] [4] [5]}

Their children were:

• Geneva Estola (Peacock) Wiseman (1930-1991)
• William Newton Peacock Jr (1935-1988)

William died on February 11, 1974, in Littlefield, Lamb, Texas, United States, aged 66. ^[6] He is buried in Sudan Cemetery, Sudan, Texas. ^[7]
