Arthur was born in 1911. He passed away in 1989. Arthur Pearson joined the Auxiliary Fire Service in London during the Blitz in WW2. After the Blitz, he was called up to join the First Gloucester Regiment and sailed to India. He travelled through India to the Khyber Pass. My eldest cousin recalls corresponding with my father when he was stationed in the Khyber Pass.
