On 30th of June 1829, Bedford County, Pennsylvania Orphan Court Docket, Petition of Henry Peck, oldest son of Conrad Peck, late of Bethel township, deceased on the twenty-ninth day of April 1829, setting forth that his father lately died intestate, leaving a widow, Deborah and issue fifteen children, viz, Henry, the petitioner, Elizabeth wife of George Bishop, Catherine wife of Archibald Stansbury, residing in the State of Ohio, William, Peter, John, Mary wife of William Brewer, Jonathan, Daniel, Ellen, Sarah, Conrad, David, Amelia, and Abraham of which children the last eight died seized of two tracts of land, viz: 1) 200 acres in Bethel Township adjoining John Hess, Moses Gordon and others, 2) 150 acres of land in Belfast Township adjoining John Peck, Henry Peckm Joseph McKinley and others. inquest made of the above mentioned land; or if the same can not be divided without spoiling the whole, to make a just appraisement of the value of thereof which is ordered by the court. Report to be made next Orphan's Court, Orpah's Court Docket 4, page 300.
