On 30 Dec 1782 he married Eli Olsdtr Pixrud in Brandvold [3] and together they had six children:

Lars died on 4 Mar 1818 at Nordre Skaare in Brandval, Hedmark, Norway, and was buried on 14 Mar. [5]
