Illness Fatal To Aged Local Lady
Mrs. Anna Eliza Emerine, 80, wife of Walter Emerine, died at 10:15 o'clock last night at her home at 104-1/2 East Third street. She had been ill two months.
Mrs. Emerine was a native, life-long resident of the Mt. Vernon community. She was a member of the Church of God Mission.
The body is at Weisinger Funeral Home where friends may call after 7 o'clock this evening. Funeral arrangements were incomplete at noon today.
Surviving, in addition to the husband, are four sons, Froman Walker, Enfield, Ill., Earl Winchester, Evansville, Thomas Winchester, Caseyville, Ill., and Earnie Winchester, Newburgh; a daughter, Mrs. Geneva Webster, Chico, Calif.; 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. May Miller, Mt. Vernon.[3]
