Biography
Julia was born in 1825. She was the daughter of Hiram Wilson Peery and Ruth Lasley. She passed away in about 1857 (according to daughter Zarilda's obituary). Julia may have been married, as she had 3 known children (Granville, Gordon, and Sarilda/Zarilda). These children used the last name Peery. After Julia passed away in about 1857, the children were raised by other families (Sarilda by a Moore family; Granville by a Hayes family). Granville and Sarilda were re-united as adults, per newspaper articles.
