Biography
Edgar was born in 1837[1][2] and adopted after the death of his parents, Albert Pelton (1809-1840) and Lucina Rood (1809-1837).
He married Susan E. Parker 4 Jul 1859 in Genesee County, Michigan[3] and resided in Richfield Michigan[4] until he enlisted in the 23rd Regiment, Michigan Infantry.[5]
He died of disease 3 Mar 1863 in Bowling Green, Kentucky and buried at National Cemetery, Nashville Tennessee.[5][6]
