Biography

The daughter of Robert Hamilton Peppers (1834-1926) and Carolina A. Bowens (1846-1919), Rosa Peppers was born in Gwinnett County, Georgia[citation needed] in 1875, residing with her family by 1880 in DeKalb County, Alabama.[1] Her siblings included:

Rosa Peppers married William Cassell, marrying in DeKalb County, Alabama on January 1, 1891[2] and having eleven known children together:

They made their home in Mountain Spring Township, Alabama, operating a home farm there.[3][4]

Mary Cassell passed away in Franklin County, Alabama[citation needed] around the age of 44 and is buried at Phil Campbell Cemetery in Phil Campbell, Alabama.[5]
