Biography
Margaret Elsie May was born in 1890, the daughter of George Perkins Mary Barrett . Elsie married Frederick 4 December 1909 they had children, Elsie passed away 17 Jan 1973 ,Elsie May Cook (formerly Perkins) is buried (or her ashes placed there) at the Dawson River Cemetery, Taree in the Old Roman Catholic Section M/19, her husband Frederick Augustine/Augustus Cook is M/20. Elsie's Son David's ashes have been put with his parents .
at the time of her fathers death Margaret was living at Urunga,New South Wales.

Her grandfather is Thomas Perkins an ex convict who became the Highly Respected Police Superintendent of Bothwell Police Force in Tasmania. I have back tracked the family in England (Thomas's parents and siblings excepting one are on his convict papers). Thomas's parents are Richard Perkins and Harriet Kendrick
