Caroline Petry married Charles Walter on 25 April 1877 in Comal, Texas, United States.^[3] In the 1880 census Cathern Watter (age 28), Keeping House, was the wife of Charles Watter in Justice Precinct 1, Guadalupe, Texas, United States.^[4]

In the 1910 census Caroline Walters (age 72) was the widowed head of household in Justice Precinct 5, Guadalupe, Texas, United States.^[5]
