The Tribune 09 Feb 1971 Tue ·Page 10 Elmer Petterson Funeral services for Elmer Petterson of San Luis Obispo will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Templeton with the Rev. J. Edwin Erickson officiating. Burial is to follow in the Templeton District Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kuehl Funeral Home in Paso Robles. Petterson, 79, died Sunday in an accident Cuesta Grade. He was born Feb. 14, 1891, in Templeton. He moved to San Francisco in 1941 where he owned and operated a delicatessen for 17 years. He moved to Paso Robles in 1958 and had recently moved to San Luis Obispo. He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church. He is survived by two sisters, Mildred Staengel of San Luis Obispo, and Elsie Hawkins of Templeton, and several nieces and nephews.
