Biography
Elizabeth was born about 1540. She is the daughter of Christopher Peyton and Joan Mildmay. She was the 5th of their 12 children. [1] Her mother was born in about 1515 and married before 1540 so her parents must have married about 1535 and Elizabeth was their 5th child if the listing in the Visitation of Suffolk 1561 is in order and correct making her birth about 1540.
Death
Elizabeth is recorded as having died before 1561 - sans issue which means without having children. [1]
Research Notes
I have checked every - Reliable source for pre-1700 profiles in England, including secondary sources listed and the Visitation of 1561 is the only source that lists Elizabeth. Also checked FS and Ancestry, nothing there. Then did a re-estimate of the date and need to recheck for 1540 - 12 July 2023.
