Robert Phelps of Lancaster, husbandman died intestate and on 31 March 1749, his widow Dorothy was granted the administration of his estate.^[1]

His inventory was taken on 4 April 1749 in Lancaster.^[2]

In 1751, an account of his estate by his widow Dorothy was recorded which included debts paid, gravestone, grave, and administration fees.^[3]

In 1752, his estate was set out to his widow Dorothy, and his children, William Phelps (eldest son), Ruth Phelps, Robert Phelps, Dorothy Phelps, Joel Phelps, and Abisha Phelps. ^[4]
