Biography

Jonathan Philbrick was born about 1745 to Joses Philbrick and [Locke-272|Abigail Locke]] in Hampton, New Hampshire ^[1]

He married Mary (Marden) Philbrick of nearby Rye in 1768 ^[2]. They had six children:
Daniel Philbrick (1769–1858)
Jonathan P. Philbrick (1772–1863)
Betsey Philbrick (1775–1816)
Abigail Philbrick (1776–1852)
Ephraim Philbrick (1780–1860)
Joseph Philbrick (1787–1879) ^[3]

Jonathan was a blacksmith in the town of Rye, New Hampshire.

He died in Rye in 1822 ^[4] and was survived by his wife and children.
