Biography

Samuel Phillips was born on February 20, 1679, in Watertown, Middlesex, Massachusetts ^[1]. He was the son of Theophilus and Mary (Bennet) Phillips. Samuel married Deborah Dix on February 12, 1711, in Watertown ^[2]. Their marriage was performed by Justice of the Peace Jonas Bond. Samuel and Deborah had 5 children:

2. Samuel, b. September 14, 1713 ^[4]
3. Mary, bapt. September 23, 1716 ^[5]
