Biography

Samuel Phillips was born on February 20, 1679, in Watertown, Middlesex, Massachusetts [1]. He was the son of Theophilus and Mary (Bennet) Phillips. Samuel married Deborah Dix on February 12, 1711, in Watertown [2]. Their marriage was performed by Justice of the Peace Jonas Bond. Samuel and Deborah had 5 children:

  1. Deborah, b. December 15, 1711 [3]
  2. Samuel, b. September 14, 1713 [4]
  3. Mary, bapt. September 23, 1716 [5]
  4. Lydia, b. June 27, 1719 [6]
  5. Ebenezer, b. February 19, 1722 [7]

Samuel passed away on November 9, 1752, in Weston, Middlesex, Massachusetts [8].
