George Raymond Picken, 77, 1230 Camp Ave., died at 7:05 o'clock Thursday night in Rockford Memorial hospital.
Mr. Picken was born in Guilford township, son of George and Elizabeth McGeachie Picken. He came to Rockford from Guilford township 48 years ago. He married Belle Breckenridge June 26, 1912. He was a member of Star in the East Masonic Lodge, No. 166.
Surviving are his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Bailey, Rockford, and Mrs. Jean Beck, Moberly, Mo., a son, Dr. Edgar Picken, Sterling; and nine grandchildren.
Arrangements are being completed in the Burpee-Wood funeral home, 420 N. Main St.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Burpee-Wood funeral home, 420 N. Main St. The Rev. J. Rodman Williams, pastor of First Presbyterian church, will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery. [5]
