This ('says the "Guardian") makes the third wounded son of Mr Pickering, as it will he remembered that Private Charles Pickering was severely wounded in the face at Gallipoli in the early stages of the war and was invalided home. [2]
He married Mary Alice Martha Conchie in 1927[3] He passed away in 1959 age 68 [4]
