Mary Caroline Pike, was born at Calais, Maine, 8 Oct 1841, the daughter of James Sheppard Pike and Charlotte Otis Pike; ^[1] died of postoperative exhaustion following surgery for carcinoma of the uterus at Boston, 5 Nov 1912, ae 71y 28d, ^[2] and buried with her husband in the Hingham Cemetery, Hingham, Massachusetts; ^[3] married at Hingham, 30 Apr 1881, James Henry Robbins, M.D., as his second wife, ^[4] born at Calais, 22 Jul 1839, the son of James Robbins and Mary Augusta Parkman; ^{[5] [6]} died of neuralgia of the heart at Hingham, 22 Aug 1900, ^[7] and buried in the Hingham Cemetery.^[8]
