Biography
Joseph Pilote was born on March 25, 1783 in Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse, Province de Québec, son of Augustin Pilote (1737–1810) and Marguerite Bolduc (1743–1818).[1]
Joseph (26) married Marie Marguerite Lacroix (17) (born on December 22, 1792 in Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse, Bas-Canada; daughter of Ambroise Lacroix and Marie Françoise Elie) on January 30, 1810 in Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse. [2]Their daughter was Marie Reine Pilote (1820–1889).
Joseph died on September 2, 1860 in Sainte-Claire, Canada-Est, aged 77.[3]
