Elijah Pinckney was born in 1815 in New York. His father was Jonathan Pinckney and his mother was Susan Adams.[1][2][3]. He married Susan Soule on February 12, 1834, in Ionia, Michigan. [3]
Elijah was issued a MIchigan homestead patent in 1837.[4] He died on March 2, 1862, in North Plains, Michigan, at the age of 47.[3]
