Joseph (27) married Mary Luana Cox (22) (born on March 27, 1847 in Anderson; daughter of Mildred Luani (Wyatt) Cox) on January 5, 1870. Their daughter was Clara Mae Pinson (1888–1966).
Joseph died on May 2, 1915 in Honea Path, Anderson, South Carolina, aged 73.
Joseph was laid to rest in theShady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Belton, Anderson County, South Carolina, United States with a death date of 2 May 1915.[1]
