She was noted as born September 1837 in Georgia. She had been married seventeen years and was the mother of two children of which both were still living as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head John W Stevenson, son Charles R Stevenson and daughter Annie Stevenson.[2]
Saphrona A Stephenson was enumerated as wife of the head of household at Carrollton Road, Victory, Carroll County, Georgia for the May 4, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1860 in Georgia and had been married twenty-eight years. She was the mother of four children of which two were still living as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head John W Stephenson, son Charlie R Stephenson and daughter Annie L Stephenson.[3]
Sara Pitts was listed as the mother of Miss Annie Stephenson who died June 11, 1926 in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia. The father was listed as J W Stephenson.[4]
Saphronia A. "Frana" Pitts Stephenson is buried at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Carroll County, Georgia.[5]
