James Place, son of Squcie Fones and Samuel Place, was born 23 Nov 17[40?], in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. (record has become illegible)[1]

He died after 28 Nov 1782, when he went from Cranston to South Kingstown on errands (reported by Nailer Tom).[1]

The Mayflower Society believe he was unmarried.[1]
