Biography

Ambroise Plante was born in 1796. He was the son of Francois II Laplante (1758–1829) and Mary Anne Quintal (1761–1834)

Ambroise married Julie Herdt/Hertz/Hert (1809–1861) in 1821. [1]

He was the father of Edmund Plante (1822–1913) and Narcisse Plante (1833–1912).

He passed away in 1874 and was buried in Calvary Cemetery in Faribault, Rice County, Minnesota, USA.
