Robert Platts was born in about 1762 and baptised on 28 Feb 1762 in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England. He was the son of John Platts[1][2] and his wife, Ellen Deen.
Hannah Widdowson from North Wingfield married Robert Platts from Chesterfield in 1790 in North Wingfield.[3] At the time of his marriage he was a collier.
Robert Platts died in 1837 aged 74 and was buried on 22 Jan 1837 at the parish churchyard in North Wingfield, Derbyshire, England, United Kingdom.
