Biography
Phoebe was born about 1871.[citation needed] She was the daughter of Thomas Pocklington, a compositor.
At the time of the 1891 census, Phoebe was visiting the Hanson family in Whaplode, Lincolnshire.[1]
She married John Green in Peterborough, Northamptonshire, in 1893.[2][3] The family lived at 66 Wellington Street, Peterborough, in 1901. John was a farm labourer.[4] By 1911 he was working as a horse slaughterer and the family lived at 48 St John's Street.[5]
