Biography

Lizzie Annie Pooley was born during the second quarter of 1873 St Savior, Southwark in London, England. Her mother's maiden name was Hopgood.

She married William George Rendell some three years her senior and deom Whitchurch in Dorset during the final quarter of 1894 at St Saviour in Southwark.

In 1901 she was registered as Elizabeth aged 27 and was living with out her husband but she did have with her their daughter Mary (!) bc1897 and her brother George Pooley bc1875 and two step siblings William Rogers bc1882 & Edith Rogers bc1890 at 19, Sutherland Road Tirra Cottage Terrace, Edmonton, Middlesex.

In 1911 as Lizzie she was aged 37 and they were living with three children May bc1897, William bc1906 & Roy bc1911 at Village Whimple, Whimple, Devon.
