Biography
Abigail Pope was born on December 2, 1834, in Ohio, her father, Emsley, was 37, and her mother, Susannah, was 33. She married Hiel Chapman on March 7, 1855, in Pontiac, Illinois. She died on December 22, 1921, having lived a long life of 87 years, and was buried in Barlow, Ohio.
